Low Barrier Housing is not a solution to the homeless of Nanaimo. The City of Nanaimo and BC Housing are proposing several low barrier housing complexes in and around the City. The Uplands Drive development is within 100 metres of a High School and immediately adjacent to a senior living complex. The occupants of low barrier housing are known, active drug and alcohol users. Help protect your community.

With the election looming, making sure that we elect candidates that are open to listening to the community is a big concern. The Concerned Citizens of Nanaimo has the support of the following candidates. We want you to vote for them on November 19. By selecting only the six candidates listed, you will help take votes from other candidates who refuse to hear our voices and who don't want to involve the community in important decisions.
